Another towering building with thick walls and high glass windows, invites you inside. High squeaky door, a sign that many years have passed over and it has witnessed many events. Once you step inside, your look is attracted like a magnet to the tall towers.

The church is magnificent, stately, has a special charm and certainly carries a story that needs to be known. Beyond the dusty aspect, there can be seen traces of a still alive history. Well, about the “Saint Michael” Roman Catholic Church you must know that it is a majestic monument, a symbol of religious architecture in the Gothic style. The Roman Catholic Church it was the first version of the church-hall in Transylvania. The main portal, carved in 1444 in Gothic style, it ends with a high accolade, carved image depicting the Archangel Michael. The north tower was built in XIX century in Gothic style, and is 80 meters tall.

Sacristy Renaissance style is impressive. This has many southern Italian and German influences. Baroque pulpit is carved in wood by Johannes Nachtigall and Anton Schuhbauer. The fragmented mural picture, shows northern Italy stylistic influences and the first signs of Renaissance in Cluj’s painting.

When you leave the enclosure, it comes all over you a slight melancholy that disappears to the thought that, surely, you’ll gladly return here.
